My child is Ausome.
Sensations overwhelm her brain – her body reacts, recoils,
then she regroups, re-engages,
fully immersed in the presence of her experience
beyond joy, beyond distress
Her tribe is Ausome.
Empathically embracing, gently firmly teaching
Celebrating and mourning, angry and loving
Generous and persevering in the face of unfathomable rejection
I am Aued.
